Whale Rider is about a young girl named Paikea but the tribe calles her Pai. She is like the main head of her tribe. she has been promoted chief or tribe leader. Her brother was supposed to be the chief, but he died at birth. She wasnt supposed to be the tribe leader but she proved herself that she can ride a whale and get the thing at the bottom of the ocean. I really dont understand how someone can ride a WHALE!! But she did. I wasnt in class to look at her ride the whale but i should have came to see it. Im sorry I got off subject ahaha! The guy sticking out his tongue in the picture is funny! They said when they stick out thier tongue it means that they are gonna eat them... watever that means.
